NAAC Accreditation
Assessment and Accreditation by NAAC is a periodic but continuous and mandatory process. BPCACPE has taken upon to achieve higher quality standards in the field of physical education and Research, which has give a high degree of recognition after the each NAAC process. BPCACPE has been thoroughly assessed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore (NAAC) for the quality education rendered in Physical Education and Research that it follows in higher education. BPCACPE underwent its first Cycle on 04th November 2004 and achieved its first milestone with ‘B++’ Grade. Second milestone achieved by college on 4th September 2010 with ‘B’ Grade (CGPA 2.85). BPCACPE is the First and the only Physical Education College in the jurisdiction of Maharashtra which is assessed and accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade (CGPA 3.29) on 25th May 2016.

Affiliations, Recognition and Accreditations
BPCACPE is an educational Institute who is affiliated to University of Mumbai. The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon “Wood’s Education Dispatch”, and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India. BPCACPE is following the academic policies, standards or programs framed by the University of Mumbai.
National Council for Teacher Education
National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is a statutory body of Government of Indian set up under the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993 (No.73 of 1993) and in 1995 is to formally oversee standards, procedures and processes in the education system. This council functions for the central as well as state governments on all matter with regard to the Teacher Education.

UGC Recognition
The University Grants Commission (UGC) provides financial assistance to eligible colleges which are included under Section 2(f) and declared fit to receive central assistance (UGC grant) under Section 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1956 as per approved pattern of assistance under various
The UGC had notified Regulations for recognition of colleges under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The colleges are brought under the purview of UGC in terms of these Regulations as and when the proposals are received from the colleges for inclusion under Section 2(f) and they are found fit for inclusion as per the provisions contained in the Regulations.
Apart from inclusion of colleges under Section 2(f), the UGC includes the Colleges under Section 12(B) of its Act in terms of Rules framed under the Act. This makes the colleges eligible for central assistance from the Government of India or any organization receiving funds from the Central Government.
