PHYSIOTHERAPY, ATHLETIC CARE AND REHABILITATION LABORATORY
The Physiotherapy,Athletic Careand Rehabilitation Laboratory, designed according to the standards and guideline by NCTE. The Physiotherapy,Athletic Care and Rehabilitation Laboratoryis provided with devices and equipment in line with the basic requirements. Our students can experiencelaboratory by taking the opportunity to apply basic first aid and treatment. Our students will be able to guide anddeal with the overuse injuries, micro and macro trauma start their professional lives as experienced technicians after graduation since they can benefit from the opportunity of applying basic hands-on manipulation and treatment (infrared light and therapeutic exercise).
ThePhysiotherapy,Athletic Care and Rehabilitation Laboratory has inhouse measurement systems to assess muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, speed, balance, coordination, agility, reaction time andjoint flexibility. Physiological tests like functional performance of heart, and lung function capacity, body mass index, fat percentage, visceral fat, skeletal muscle ratio and resting metabolism. Specific equipment for test measurement and evaluation includes, but is not limited to, a treadmill test machine, multimode dynamometer,bioelectrical impedance analyser (body composition monitor). Physiotherapy,Athletic Care and Rehabilitation Laboratoryprovides research opportunities for faculty and graduate students in the masters and doctoral degree programs in Physical Education and Sports at the BPCA research centre.
